Accessibility
Last updated: June 9, 2026
The "They're Not Jobs" project considers accessibility an essential part of its work: we want the site and survey to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnifiers).
Compliance Level
The site is designed to comply with the WCAG 2.1 Guidelines, Level AA. The main pages (home, survey, data, who we are, contacts, privacy policy) have been verified and no violations were detected with respect to these criteria.
Accessibility Features
- Keyboard navigation complete, with a "skip to content" link at the top of the page.
- Color contrast compliant (minimum ratio 4.5:1 for text).
- Alternative texts for images and descriptions for the results graphs.
- Explicit labels for all fields in the survey and contact form, with clear error messages.
- Semantic structure with hierarchical headers and landmarks.
- Tongue of the declared page (Italian).
- Respecting movement preferences: animations are reduced for those who set "reduce motion" in the system.
Third-party content
Some components are generated by external tools (e.g., the banner and cookie management page). This content may have accessibility limitations beyond our control (e.g., missing ARIA attributes). We are working to minimize these limitations.
Evaluation method
The verification was conducted through self-assessment, with automatic tools (axe-core) and manual controls over keyboard navigation, contrasts and page structure.
Reports and contacts
If you encounter difficulties accessing any part of the site, or would like to report an accessibility issue, please contact us: we will do our best to resolve the issue and provide you with the content in an alternative format.
This is a voluntary accessibility statement: "Non sono lavotti" is an independent project, not a public administration, and is not subject to the legal obligations imposed on them. However, a commitment to accessibility is part of our principles.
